In continuation with catching up on how this has been unfolding from my point of view since the start of the lockdown, here was the update from Week 2. The idea of LETTING GO is still very relevant right now. If we are not able to let go of what we THINK is “normal” we can get caught in a holding pattern and be extremely compromised with taking action on what will allow us to thrive during a very uncertain time.
Also, by being in a holding pattern or resistance to CHANGE, we are also putting ourselves under a form of mental, emotional and spiritual stress. An overwhelming amount of stress WILL compromise our immunity. Based on the stats, the greatest volume of serious cases have been related to those with challenged immunity and health conditions. Our hearts and love go out to those that have lost lives, family members and friends.
For those of us that are still here, we are left to decide what we do have control over in our lives to do our best to be safe, protect our loved ones, fellow humans and restore harmony on the planet.

WEEK 2 – “LETTING GO” – MAR 28
By the second week, it really started to become real for me. My place of work had to close down despite the measures we took to be as safe as possible. My son’s school was officially cancelled, and many businesses have had to respond quickly to manage and support the clients and customers they serve. For me, not only did I respond by creating this community to support clients and supporters, but it was also a measure to strengthen my sense of purpose and have a way to contribute in a positive way during the pandemic.
